Ms. Kalani’s primary focus is to lead and advise on how people and culture can proactively help in planning for the continued success of MTI’s operations and business. Operating from our Canadian headquarters, she is the single point of contact and a trusted advisor for strategic HR consultation on people strategies for our multinational offices across US & UK. In conjunction with the leadership team & the Board, she develops and executes a comprehensive and sustainable human capital and organizational development strategy that continues to inspire safety, innovation, collaboration, and growth.
She is a firm believer that the people and culture are the heart and soul of any organization and have the power to make or break companies. She strives hard to enable the best in people and thus, synthesis the big picture and a million smaller details.
An MBA-HR from University of Mumbai, India and CHRL from HRPA, Canada, Ms. Kalani has almost a decade of multidisciplinary international HR experience into various industries (FMCG, B2B, Retail, etc.), various business lifecycles, and various business environments (manufacturing, unionized/ non-unionized, corporate). She has developed expertise in building and redesigning the strategic and transactional elements of HR, as well as organization design and change management throughout the company.
